Liquidware Labs Collaborates with VMware to Deliver Profile Optimization for Next-Generation Desktops

ProfileUnity™ and VMware View 5™ revolutionize the end-user experience and persona management with complementary profile solutions

LAS VEGAS, NV., September 1, 2011 - Today at VMworld® 2011, Liquidware Labs, the leader in desktop transformation solutions, announced that customers can achieve certified, synergistic improvements in profile management by combining VMware View 5™ profile acceleration with ProfileUnity™ from Liquidware Labs.

The combined solutions offer a "one-two punch" for optimizing user profiles in VMware View desktops. While the new profile-management capabilities in View 5 focus on radically improving login and logoff speeds, ProfileUnity™ further advances the solution by giving desktop administrators control of user-persona management for both physical and virtual environments, thus addressing a key challenge faced by customers to manage mixed environments.

In the release of ProfileUnity v.5.0, administrators will further have the ability to manage user-installed applications. The feature enhancements in ProfileUnity 5.0, being demonstrated at VMworld 2011, Las Vegas, allow a wider spectrum of applications to run in virtual desktop environments and applications to follow users-even when using stateless non-persistent environments or physical machines.
