Liquidware Labs Growth Surged in Q3 2011 with Revenues Increase of 300 Percent Compared With Q3 2010

Aggressive growth strategy pays off in increased number of customers, substantial revenue gains, and fresh industry accolades, while virtualization industry sales and technology veterans continue to flock to the company.

ALPHARETTA, GA and CHICAGO, IL, October 10, 2011 - Liquidware Labs, the leader in desktop transformation solutions, today announced that revenues in Q3 2011 surged by 300 percent compared to Q3 2010, the largest gain in customers and licenses in a single quarter. The surge in revenue was attributed to a significant increase in enterprise clients and growing acceptance of Liquidware Labs' solutions as a default standard for VDI deployments.

In Q3, the company also opened new corporate offices in Chicago and increased its employee head count by over 25 percent, continuing to add acknowledged industry experts and seasoned sales executives to its ranks. Earlier this year, Liquidware Labs was named to CRN's new Virtualization 100 list, and Jason Mattox, Liquidware Labs' Chief Technology Officer, was named to CRN's 2011 "100 People You Don't Know But Should" list.

"In addition to these impressive numbers and awards, we have seen the validation of our desktop transformation methodology and user virtualization solution, which we introduced in 2009 as VDI Essentials.", said David Bieneman, Liquidware Labs Co-Founder and CEO. "Now our competition has scrambled to try and match our offering, we are also seeing a substantial increase in new partnering requests and downloads of our products. In other Q3 news, Liquidware Labs ProfileUnity™ FlexApp™ was voted a finalist in the Best New Technology Category of the Best of VMworld 2011 Awards. The software solution was the only VDI-focused solution to achieve the prestigious award at this premier virtualization industry event.

"The session particularly delves into the challenge of runaway costs and how to avoid adding CAPEX and OPEX," Rohrer said. "We will also take a close look at how to measure current input/output per second by user and by application."

During the VMworld conference in September, Liquidware Labs also unveiled coming product enhancements, including the aforementioned award-winning ProfileUnity 5.0 with FlexApp technology, which is expected to be generally available in Q4. ProfileUnity 5.0 with FlexApp will continue to knock down barriers to VDI with the ability to capture and deploy user-installed applications within stateless, non-persistent, shared-image desktops using VMware® View Composer, Citrix® Provisioning Server and physical desktops.

Liquidware Labs also introduced Stratusphere Designer at VMworld. The product will be generally available in Q4 this year. Stratusphere Designer mitigates risk, lowers cost and improves virtual desktop user experiences by delivering image, host and storage design models based on observed assessment data.

Both ProfileUnity 5.0 with FlexApp and Stratusphere Designer will be demonstrated at VMworld, Copenhagen, and Citrix Synergy, Barcelona, later this month.

The new hires include senior personnel from leading virtualization industry firms Vizioncore and PHD Virtual.
