        Customer Support Engineer
        Liquidware Labs, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to join an exciting young company as a customer support agent. This is a position for a candidate who has a solid background in customer support preferably related to IT product solutions.  This position will require excellent skills in handling customer relationships and customer support processes, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.  The ideal candidate has a proven record of hands-on support, and is familiar with customer support issues related to browser-based applications, IT solutions and database systems.  The candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and should enjoy working in a demanding but rewarding environment.
        Specific Duties

        • Handle Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer support issues
        • Communicate effectively with customers via phone or email to resolve issues
        • Carefully track details of each customer support issue
        • Work with engineering team to resolve Tier 3 support issues
        • Help establish knowledge base and improve customer support processes

        The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and must be flexible enough to adapt to the changing needs of a small start-up company.
        Required Skills and Experience
        To be effective in this position the candidate must be capable of performing assigned duties with limited direction.  Specific knowledge and skills required for this position include:

        • Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or related field of study
        • Knowledge of basic networking concepts
        • 2+ years in technical customer support a plus
        • Strong familiarity with Windows and Linux OS, Relational Databases and SQL a plus
        • Knowledge of virtualization a plus
        • Experience with case management and knowledge management systems for issue resolution and case tracking a plus
        • Experience with Windows and Active Directory administration a plus
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

        Sales Support Engineer

        Overall responsibility
        Provide technical sales assistance to Sales opportunities and all related support including presentation, software installation and support of customer issues and requirements.
        Key areas of responsibility

        • Gain detailed, internal understanding of Liquidware Labs suite of products: Stratusphere & ProfileUnity
        • Understand Sales process, Company Strategy, Competitive Landscape, and Documentation
        • Perform technical product presentations including overview, architecture and use cases
        • Demonstrate product features and capabilities
        • Create custom reports based on customer requirements
        • Perform training sessions for customers
        • Perform software installation and help customers use the product for assessments, diagnostics, migrations, performance tuning and health checks
        • Perform customer tech support function for ongoing sales opportunities
        • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosis of issues

        • Quality Assurance

        Term of employment
        Permanent, full time employment of 40+ hours/week, some travel required (20-40%)

        Qualifications

        • Strong customer facing interaction and presentation skills
        • Presales + Post Sales Consulting experience a plus
        • Very strong and deep technical background in virtualization, especially VMware ESX/View and Citrix XenServer a must
        • Windows and Linux Administration
        • SQL, JavaScript
        • Familiarity with Active Directory, Software distribution
        • Strong sense of customer service
        • Must be open to learn, must take ownership, ready to wear multiple hats.

        Software Engineer – Windows Systems Programmer
        Liquidware Labs (located in Alpharetta, GA) is seeking a motivated individual to join an exciting young company as a software engineer. This is a position for a candidate who has a solid software engineering background with strong experience in Microsoft Windows systems level programming.  This position offers a great opportunity for growth in a leading-edge software startup in the virtualization space. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with some or all of the following:  Windows services and OS hooks, Windows Management Interface (WMI) and system APIs for 32-/64-bit OS, Windows networking and device drivers, Windows user interface programming (MFC, WPF, .NET), Windows event logs, Windows logons and Active Directory, Windows security.  The candidate should possess solid written and oral communication skills, and should enjoy working in a demanding but rewarding environment.
        Specific Duties

        • Hands-on development of exciting new enterprise software solutions.
        • Work closely with development leaders and managers to plan releases.
        • Participate in the definition and design of new features and products.

        The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and must be flexible enough to adapt to the changing needs of a small start-up company.
        Required Skills
        To be effective in this position the candidate must be technically capable of performing assigned duties with limited direction.  Specific knowledge and skills required for this position include:

        • Bachelors in CS or equivalent work experience.
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
        • 3+ years of Windows systems programming experience.
        • 3+ years of C/C++/C# programming.
        • Strong experience in programming and troubleshooting some or all of the following:  Windows services, Windows drivers, Windows networking software, Windows user interfaces, Web Services (SOAP).
        • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly break down and understand complex issues.
        • Experience with software engineering best practices, including use of version control systems, change and defect tracking tools, and test automation tools.
        • Experience working with WMI or other APIs for process monitoring
        • Experience dealing with new Windows versions such as Vista, Windows-7
        • Experience working with virtualization platforms such as VMware a plus

        Inside Sales – Software Sales Specialist
        Liquidware Labs
        (located in Alpharetta, GA) is seeking a motivated individual to join an exciting young company as a Software Sales Specialist. This is a position for a candidate who has a solid sales background with strong experience in selling Windows management solutions.  This position offers a great opportunity for growth in a leading-edge software startup in the virtualization space. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with some or all of the following:  Windows profile solutions, management solutions, user environment management solutions, performance monitoring solutions, and virtual desktop solutions from VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, as well as Microsoft XP, Vista, 7 and server based computing solutions. The candidate should possess solid written and oral communication skills, and should enjoy working in a demanding but rewarding environment.
        Specific Duties

        • Daily sales, involving heavy phone and email use selling exciting new enterprise software solutions
        • Work with marketing, channel sales, and end users
        • Give technical sales PPT presentations
        • Field technical sales questions on product capabilities and architecture
        • Work with System Engineers to ensure advance technical questions are answered timely
        • Develop Q&A for team training and customer facing use
        • Assist and or lead in data mining of partner and user group contacts

        Travel
               Light travel (2-5 trips per year) may be required.
